Objectives: (i) To identify the scope of variation in immunisation practices and perceptions; (ii) to identify the key themes that support the acceptance of vaccination in different publics, systems of ideas, actors and immunisation policies and scientific networks; (iii) to understand the meanings of non-vaccination and determine the risk arising from the practical thinking of the population; (iv) to create a specific context for drawing a comparative study of analysis on the acceptance of vaccination; (v) to develop comparative ideas that relate to the care of the body and its image in contemporary societies.
