Objectives: The project aims to contribute to the debate about the persistence of trends that prevent women from achieving top-level positions within companies, by providing guidelines and solutions for this problem. Within the Portuguese context, this project aims specifically at: (i) diagnosing employment of tourism graduates; (ii) analysing women’s importance in the tourism sector; (iii) evaluating the constraints to women’s vertical mobility; (iv) creating a model that supports women in their career progression and optimises human capital within companies.
