Children of the State? Childhood, Rights and Institutionalisation

Objectives: The Project aims (i) to analyse the policies for the institutionalisation of children, specifically the evaluation of the DOM Plan (Challenges, Opportunities and Changes), the main objective of which is the implementation of qualification measures for children and youth homes networks, which encourage a continuous improvement of the promotion of the rights and protection of children and sheltered young people, aiming at a timely education for citizenship and deinstitutionalisation;  (ii) to evaluate the DOM Plan and contribute to the discussion in the political agenda about institutionalised children;
