FCT Investigator

The third edition of the FCT Investigator Call has opened by the Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia (FCT).

This funding programme offers a competitive salary, by means of a work contract, for up to five years. With this call, FCT plans to fund 150 new research contracts as FCT Investigator, in any scientific or academic field.

This call is opened to all PhD researchers of any nationality. Applications can be submitted until June 16th, 2014.

CICS-Minho is available to host new applications and provide all necessary support for its draft. To this end, applicants must submit a brief summary of the project until June 1, to cics@ics.uminho.pt

We encouraged applications in teh following fields:

- Social Inequalities and Public Action

- Citizenship, Work and Technology

- Environmental Change, Territory and Development

- Population Dynamics and Health
