Ebook “Meeting of Landscapes” from Helena Pires and Teresa Mora

CECS and CICS published the ebook “Meeting Landscapes” from Helena Pires, a CECS researcher and professor in the Department of Communication Sciences and Teresa Mora, full researcher CICS and professor in the Department of Sociology UMinho. The book has 88 pages and texts from Helena Pires, Teresa Mora, Nuno Borges de Araujo, Nuno Moreira Ignatius, Fortunato Luís Lima, Ana Francisca de Azevedo, Fabio La Rocca, Mirian Tavares, Miguel Flag Soups and José Miguel Braga.

The publication follows the event “Meeting of Landscapes”, jointly organized by CECS and CICS, which occurred on May 27, 2011 at the Museum Nogueira da Silva in Braga. The theme of the Meeting was the research project Landscapes, Culture and the Contemporary Arts and counted with the collaboration of scholars and artists. This project aims to study the landscape in its many forms of conceptualization, through different perspectives and scientific fields.
